Oh Honey is Farm Fresh & Pure honey from Buffalo Farm in Western NC.
In June 2022 I worked as a Brand Designer with Robin Nelon, the owner of a small farm which started in 2000 and soon became a thriving business, with dozens of beehives and a variety of products. They are committed to producing organic, eco-friendly and healthy goods at affordable prices.
For this project, she was looking for a Brand Identity and Label Design to represent their organic honey at the local shops and engage with their clients.
After gathering all the info through the questions, like what they’re doing, how, why, their goals, frustrations and their values, I collected the repeated and relevant keywords to create a logo design.
These keywords are the essence of what she is really trying to communicate and this is what helped me develop the core brand identity.
Every keyword from hers identity can be translated into visual language with the right set of colours, typography and style.
Here is where the visual research comes into place and I provide different concepts for a client.
After a few rounds of drafts, options and iterations we found the right vibe she was looking for, including a logo, logo variations, font, colour palette and label design.
